After a luring 2-hour season premiere, Freeform’s Siren is back with an all new episode titled “Interview with a Mermaid,” and it looks like Ryn is crashing a Bristol Cove pool party. The men don’t understand what it is that they’ve caught, but it results in both the mermaid and Chris, one of the men on the boat, to be captured by a government agency. Searching for her sister, mermaid Ryn forces herself to adjust to life on land. Along the way she meets a local mermaid expert and two marine biologists, all of whom she slowly learns to trust, realizing she’s going to need help from humans if she’s going to be able to find her sister. In this week’s episode, we’re going to see those relationships develop further as the group works to find the captured mermaid and their friend Chris. Siren season 1 episode 3 “Interview with a Mermaid” synopsis: "Dale and the local police’s investigation starts pointing directly to Ryn, meanwhile Xander and Calvin’s search for Chris heats up when they locate the nurse who works at the military bunker." In the photos released though, it looks like Ryn will be splashing into a freshwater/chlorinated pool after attending a Bristol Cove townie summer party. We learned last week that Ryn turns into a predator as soon as she hits water, so it will be interesting to see how Ben and Maddie react to seeing Ryn dive in (that inflatable flamingo doesn’t stand a chance).
